Completion of the membership process signifies acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below relating to AMEE membership, benefits, and payment of fees. 

Membership and Payment

AMEE operates on a rolling membership year.  You will be invited to renew your membership one year after payment has been received. Renewal notices are issued 90 days prior to expiry, 30 days prior to expiry, two weeks before the day of expiry and the week before expiry. A follow up communication is also sent after expiry if you have not renewed. 

AMEE membership begins on the date full payment is received and lasts one full calendar year. 

Access to AMEE member benefits as stated on the Membership pages is only granted once payment has been received in full.

Membership fees may only be paid in GBP £ Sterling irrespective of your country of origin. 

Payment may be made by credit/debit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX) or bank transfer in GBP £ STERLING only. If paying by bank transfer you must accept ALL bank charges.

AMEE reserves the right to change any membership benefits without giving notice.

Required Evidence

For Membership for Partner Associations and Societies applications, AMEE may follow up with ABEM, AMSE, AoME, CAME, GMA, IAMSE, NVMO, SSME and ViEW to check your current membership status before your AMEE membership is confirmed.
AMEE may ask for, or require you to provide, evidence that you are a current student in full time study to confirm student membership eligibility.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your membership you must provide written notification of your intent to cancel within the first calendar month of joining/renewing. You will receive a full refund minus £25 Administration costs. Any and all bank or credit card charges incurred by AMEE will not be refunded.
