Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level, within the Division of Family and Community Medicine, Department of Humanities, Health and Society. The Assistant/Associate Professor will join a team internationally recognized for social accountability and inspirational approaches to health professions education. Teaching duties include supervising interprofessional student household visits as part of the Community Engaged Physician course series, teaching clinical skills and various other subjects across the curriculum, and supervising student population health focused community practicum projects. The qualified candidate will also provide clinical care on behalf of the college, collaborate in grant writing and research, and participate in other academic administrative duties.
