Hello to the AMEE community from India, 

 

After an enormous academic feast at Lyon, France, we are excited to come together for the next leading annual event for Health professionals, the 2023 AMEE Conference in Glasgow, Scotland.  

 

AMEE 2023, in its forthcoming conference, thus intends to broaden its horizons by bringing together global perspectives and offer opportunities and possibilities to mutually learn and exchange ideas. The Program committee unequivocally intends to cater to a diverse range of themes and in-depth exploration of chosen issues in Health Professions Education.  

 

One of the major opportunities to share ideas and experiences in AMEE 2023 will be the presentation of related and relevant research in Health Professions. We welcome new streams of ideas and original abstracts from across the globe and the Abstract Portal is open and ready to accept submissions. 

 

As a passionate medical teacher with a strong inclination towards faculty development, AMEE conferences have always been the one-stop destination for me to unveil emerging ideas, analyze scientific pieces of evidence in HPE and hear the perspectives of stalwarts in the field. 

 

Of course, not to forget the great friends I have made along the way. It is a great feeling to be part of AMEE 2023 Conference program committee, a conglomeration of bright minds and generous International representation. A very recent unique initiative by AMEE is the recognition of four leading Indian Medical Schools as AMEE networking centres, envisioned towards igniting the spirit of excellence among Health professional educators. This collaboration has further strengthened the AMEE – India educational networking ties. It has enabled a conducive platform to share India’s philosophy and efforts towards improving Health Professions education and educators alike.
