Dear health professions students worldwide;

It is our pleasure to invite you to apply to become part of the AMEE Student Taskforce 2022. Please complete the full application form below in order to be considered for the STF. 
The AMEE Student Taskforce comprises a team of enthusiastic international students who participate and assist in the AMEE Conference, the biggest Health Professions' Education Conference annually. All health professions students are welcome!

AMEE is one of the most important organizations for health professions' education in the world. It promotes international excellence in health professions education across the continuum of undergraduate, postgraduate an continuing professional education. Every year, AMEE organises the largest health professions' education conference in the world. In the last few years more than 3,500 participants have attended physically and virtually, with exposure to workshops, good practice sessions, poster presentations, short communications, exhibitions, and much more.

Each year AMEE offers a cohort of international health sciences students the chance to attend the AMEE Conference for free, with accommodation and meals covered, as well as partial financial aid for travel expenses. The chosen students are tasked with assisting in tasks related to practical issues, and with assisting participants during the conference.  


Where/When:


The conference takes place in a hybrid format this year, in Lyon, France, between 27 - 31 August 2022. The first working day of the Student Taskforce will be August 27, so arrival in France will be the 26th, and departure the 31st. 

In total there will be: 
  • 36 International students participating in Lyon in person
  • 12 International students participating virtually

    Selection Criteria:


    All applications will be judged by the Student Taskforce Coordinator team. Selection will be made based on:

  • Motivation
  • Relevant Experience
  • Future plans for use of the experience gained
  • Geographical and gender diversity
