Conference Workshop -   rooms have a screen, projector and computer with sound available but you may wish to use your own computer.  Workshop rooms will be laid out in cabaret style (tables and chairs). A member of the student taskforce will be assigned to each workshop and will be responsible for bringing any handouts, evaluation forms and attendance registers to the room allocated. Worldspan will contact Lead Conference Workshop Facilitator to seek individual requirements.  If you have any questions, please contact amee@worldspan.co.uk.


  • Presenters should be available to present at any time between 1030hrs on Saturday 26 August and 1145hrs on Sunday 27 August.  We are unable to take requests for specific presentation days;
  • The early registration fee applies until 19 May 2017
  • It is essential that the abstract presenter is registered and has paid the registration fee by 1 June 2017 (or has registered and made arrangements to pay the registration fee either prior to arrival or on site) in order to guarantee inclusion in the programme;
  • The final programme will be available from early July 2017.

4th International Conference on Faculty Development registration fee includes:  Attendance at the main conference sessions (Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August (workshops according to availability); lunch (Saturday 27 August) and coffee breaks (Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August); Networking reception (Friday 25 August); Conference materials.

Registration Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions relating to registration for 4th International Conference on Faculty Development in the Health Professions

Completion of the registration information signifies acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below.

  1. The registration fees may only be paid in Euros (€) irrespective of your country of origin.
  2. 4th International Faculty Development Conference attendance includes:  Evening reception (Friday 25 August), attendance at sessions (Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August), coffee, lunch (Saturday 26 August), coffee (Sunday 27 August)
  3. Travel to Helsinki and accommodation is NOT included in the registration fee.
  4. Payment may be made by credit/debit card (VISA, Mastercard) or bank transfer in Euros (€)only. All payments must be made prior to the start of the Conference unless prior arrangements have been made to make payment at the registration desk.
  5. Cancellation policy for 4th International Conference on Faculty Development: a refund of previously paid registration fees will be made as follows – Notification in writing by 15 May 2017: full refund less GBP Euros 75 administration fee; Notification in writing by 1 July 2017: 50% refund; Notification after 1 July: no refund.
  6. Please note in the event of cancellation, bank or credit card charges incurred by AMEE will not be refunded.
  7. This contract is governed by the laws of Scotland.
