Summary:
Outcome-based education (OBE) focuses on the outcomes of teaching and learning experiences to inform design decisions. OBE starts with a clear specification of what the learner will be able to do after course/programme completion. Curriculum planning and evaluation in OBE are important to ensure the quality of the programme. This workshop will offer opportunities for learning and sharing experiences for all-level clinical teachers who are interested in developing outcome-based curriculum in their own context. The presenters will facilitate a discussion and provide interactive hands-on experience to develop an OBE curriculum using a staged approach, informed by the constructive alignment concept.
