This masterclass will give an introduction to the concept of self-regulated learning (SRL) followed by examples of supports for SRL in simulation-based training (SBT). Furthermore, we will elaborate on how debriefing in SBT can promote future learning. Participants will be divided into groups collaborating on designing SBT programs that implement supports for SRL. The masterclass aims to inspire participants for ways to apply and support SRL in SBT. The masterclass is intended for developers, instructors, and clinicians involved in SBT. The masterclass will be given at an introductory level and requires no prior knowledge or experience.
