Awarding and use of post-nominals

MAMEE

  • These post-nominals are awarded in recognition of an individual’s professional commitment to healthcare education, through their active membership of AMEE
  • Can only be used as part of an active membership i.e. the individual must be up to date with their subscription payments or have taken Life membership

  • If membership lapses then the post-nominals must not be used as the individual is no longer a Full Member of AMEE

AFAMEE

  • These post-nominals are awarded in recognition of an individual’s professional attainment in their field, demonstrated both by meeting the relevant criteria or completing a relevant programme, and through their active membership of AMEE
  • Can only be used as part of an active membership i.e. the individual must be up to date with their subscription payments or have taken Life membership
  • If membership lapses, the post-nominals must not be used as the individual is no longer an Associate Fellow of AMEE

FAMEE

  • These post-nominals are awarded in recognition of an individual’s professional attainment in their field, demonstrated both by meeting the relevant criteria or completing a relevant programme, and through their active membership of AMEE
  • Can only be used as part of an active membership i.e. the individual must be up to date with their subscription payments or have taken Life membership
  • If membership lapses, the post-nominals must not be used as the individual is no longer a Fellow of AMEE
