Teachers, administrators, and researchers involved in medical and healthcare professions education and all fully subscribed members of ABEM, AoME, CAME, GMA, IAMSE, NVMO, SSME or ViEW.  Please note AMEE reserves the right to contact any of these institutions to check your membership status.
Student Member Student registration is available for medical students and up to one-year post-basic qualification only. It is not available for those on postgraduate courses, except graduate entry to medicine. Please note that you may be asked to provide evidence of your student status.
Institutional Member Medical schools, university departments, private or governmental statutory bodies or organisations related to medical/healthcare professions education, regional associations of medical education.

For institutions that wish to benefit from the full range of AMEE/ MedEdWorld institutional membership benefits and provide MedEdWorld individual membership to members of their institution.
 

 

Terms and conditions relating to AMEE Membership

  1. Completion of the membership process signifies acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below.
  2. Membership fees may only be paid in GBP £ Sterling irrespective of your country of origin, the table above indicates the fees applicable.
  3. Membership benefits are detailed in the table above.
  4. Access to Medical Teacher online is not permitted until full payment is received.
  5. Access to MedEdWorld is not permitted until full payment is received.
  6. Individual and Student Members can only submit MedEdPublish papers free of charge after full payment is received
  7. Discount on AMEE Conference registration fees will not be given until full payment is received.  Upon registering as a member your membership will be checked before registration is confirmed.
  8. Discount on AMEE Publications and AMEE-ESME Online courses will not be given until full payment is received.
  9. AMEE may follow up with ABEM, AoME, CAME, GMA, IAMSE, NVMO, SSME and ViEW to check your current membership status before your AMEE membership is confirmed.
  10. Payment may be made by credit/debit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX) or bank transfer in GBP £ STERLING only. If paying by bank transfer you must accept ALL bank charges.
  11. Cancellation policy for Membership: 1) Notification in writing within first calendar month of joining/renewal - full refund less £25 Administration Costs.  All bank or credit card charges incurred by AMEE will not be refunded. 
  12. AMEE operates on a rolling membership year.  You will be invited to renew your membership one year after payment has been received. Renewal notices are issued by email 30 days prior to expiry, the day of expiry and the month after expiry.
  13. This contract is governed by the laws of Scotland.
