AMEE Introduces a Refreshed Brand

AMEE introduces a refreshed brand

Find out more about our new look, the values it reflects, and what it means for the future of AMEE.

A new look for today’s AMEE

AMEE has a brand new look. Our refreshed branding reflects the energy, leadership, and global vision that has shaped who we are today.

At its heart, AMEE is a community of people dedicated to improving the health of society as a whole through excellence in health professions education.

AMEE was born in Europe over 50 years ago, but we have evolved into a truly global organisation, one that brings together a diverse, international community across every corner of healthcare.

“Our new branding reflects AMEE today, as a global, connected organisation. This evolution honours our 50-year history while showcasing the momentum of our community as we continue to shape the future of health professions education together.” – Anne Lloyd, CEO of AMEE.

Our growing community

Our new brand colours are reflective of what we aspire to be as an organisation – bold, modern and confident.

Our dark purple conveys depth and credibility, while our teal represents clarity, creativity, and a forward-looking approach.

Together, they create a distinctive, modern palette that feels both trustworthy and innovative.

Our upward-facing arrow symbolises progress and forward momentum. It reflects our commitment to growth, continuous improvement, and driving positive change, while also conveying optimism and a clear sense of direction.

Our members and wider community are a core part of that evolution and play an important role in ensuring AMEE continues not just to adapt, but to operate at the leading edge of Health Professions Education practice, research and innovation; challenging assumptions, developing capacity, and working collaboratively.

“AMEE has always been about its amazing people, the educators, clinicians, learners and leaders who are passionate about making health professions education better for everyone everywhere.

“The refreshed identity celebrates our shared values and the international community that makes AMEE so special.” – Ayelet Kuper, president of AMEE.

Moving forward together

We may look different, but our mission stays the same: supporting you, supporting each other, and advancing Health Professions Education worldwide.
