Joining a committee offers a valuable opportunity to contribute your expertise, support the advancement of Health Professions Education, and collaborate with colleagues from around the world. Each committee offers a way to contribute to AMEE’s mission.

Fellowship Committee

Our Fellowship Committee encourages health professions educators worldwide to advance and recognise their professional growth and achievements, strengthen the recognition of excellence at their own institution as well as in the global HPE community, and support the development of the next generation of health professions educators. Only our Fellows are eligible to serve on this committee.

Please note that only AMEE Fellows may apply.

Deadline: 21 April 2026

Research Committee

Our Research Committee manages a portfolio of scholarly activities including two research grant programmes; a research stream within the conference programme; PhD awards, and the development of resources.

Deadline: 21 April 2026.

Theme Committees

Our Theme Committees provide guidance within their specialist areas, cultivate strategic partnerships with key individuals and organisations, and contribute specialised content to AMEE’s educational and conference programmes.

They also support AMEE’s operations through activities such as awarding grants and prizes and help to grow the AMEE membership and wider community.

If you are a student member, you can join theme committees as a Student Representative or Early Career Representative.

Deadline: 21 April 2026.

We encourage interested and eligible individuals to apply and take an active role in shaping the future of Health Professions Education.
