The awards
The ASPIRE Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate excellence in health professions education, going beyond traditional accreditation to highlight best practice and promote innovation across the sector.
Applications are open to Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Schools worldwide, inviting institutions to put forward their greatest achievements. Submissions are assessed against rigorous criteria of excellence developed by an expert group of international leaders in their field.
Award categories
There are the nine award categories:
- Assessment of Students Award
- Curriculum Development Award
- Faculty Development Award
- Innovative and Inspirational Approaches to Health Professions Education Award
- International Collaboration in Health Professions Education Award
- Simulation Award
- Social Accountability Award
- Student Engagement Award
- Technology Enhanced Learning Award
How to apply
To apply, institutions will be required to submit documentary evidence demonstrating how they meet the award criteria. Schools may apply for a maximum of three awards in the same year.
