AMEE publications include a range of guides giving practical advice and current thinking on a series of important topics in medical and health professions education. AMEE also has its own Journal, Medical Teacher, published by Informa, which is one of the leading health professions education journals. A new addition introduced in 2016 to the AMEE publication range is MedEdPublish (ISSN 2312–7996) AMEE's new open access, specialist practitioner e-journal that enables academics, teachers, clinicians, researchers and students to publish their experiences, views and research findings relating to teaching, learning and assessment in medical and health professions education.

Medical Teacher
Medical Teacher is published twelve times a year by Informa, in print (ISSN: 0142-159X) and electronic (1466-187X) versions.
The journal of AMEE, Medical Teacher is supplied in online format to AMEE individual and student members as part of their membership fee.

MedEdPublish (ISSN 2312–7996) - an official journal of AMEE is an open access, specialist practitioner e-journal that enables academics, teachers, clinicians, researchers and students to publish their experiences, views and research findings relating to teaching, learning and assessment in medical and health professions education.
Originally launched in 2012 within AMEE’s MedEdWorld platform, the online publication has continued to develop its delivery of post-publication peer review papers to the health professions education community. Key developments have included the allocation of an ISSN, membership of CrossRef to enable the allocation of DOIs to papers and the expansion to full open access for all new papers.
