The AMEE Research Committee is pleased to invite you to submit a short proposal application for the AMEE Grant for Medical Educators working in Resource Constrained Settings (MERCS Grant).

The deadline for applications is the 28 March 2025 (Midnight, UK time).

We anticipate that successful applicants will be notified of their award in June 2025. Project start dates should commence after August 2025.

Methodology (Study design, participants, methods, recruitment and data collection procedures, analysis). At least one third of your summary should address this area.

SECTION 6: Dissemination and Implementation Plan (maximum of 200 words)

Dissemination Plan

SECTION 7: Contributions of the work (maximum of 500 words)

Contributions of the work to the applicant’s immediate/local community
Contributions of the work to a broader audience i.e. outside the applicant’s immediate/local community

SECTION 8: Budget and Justification (maximum of 200 words)

Sum of money requested, along with justification. This section should be strengthened by evidence of costings from your institution/organisation.
