Welcome to AMEE - inspire...and be inspired!
The Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) is a worldwide organisation with members in 90 countries on five continents.
AMEE promotes international excellence in education in the healthcare professions across the continuum of undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education.
Your invitation to join AMEE - Perhaps more than at any other time, the scholarship of medical education and the importance of medical education as a discipline are being recognised. Teaching skills are important in all phases of education. There is also a need to stimulate research in medical education and to disseminate the results to the practising teacher in order that evidence may inform teaching.
AMEE 2015, Glasgow, UK
The AMEE Conference provides an opportunity for all with an interest in medical and health professions education to meet together to hear about what’s new in the area, to share ideas and to network with colleagues from around the world.
AMEE publishes a range of low-cost guides giving practical advice and current thinking on a series of important topics in medical and health professions education. The Journal of AMEE Medical Teacher provides accounts of new teaching methods, guidance on structuring courses and assessing achievement, and serves as a forum for communication between medical teachers and those involved in general education.
